Peugeot Speedfight 2 ac and Yamaha aerox by ett

Hi all!

Sorry for the english, I´m from Hungary but I´m living in Slovakia now and I don´t speak polish. This site is the best I have ever seen.
Let the game begin!

There are 2 scooters:
Peugeot speedfight 2 (which is in bad condition, but will be better I hope)
Yamaha aerox (the peugeot is a snail by the aerox)

The peugeot was terrible when I bought it. Cylinder, clutch dead, carburettor is bad too ( I don´t like this gurtner carb, gas reaction is bad with it and the e-choke was bad too.) Top speed 60km/h by the speedometer, and the acceleration: Horrible, a snail was faster than me.
Ok, we have to solve this problem. New cylinder, new clutch and clutch belt, motoforce racing variator, stage 6 cdi, laser x pro exhaust.

The result: Acceleration is ok, top speed 75 km/h by the speedometer, but still not good enough. Full throttle can´t be used, I don´t know why. When I´m using full throttle, the scooter´s acceleration is worse than at 3/4 throttle. Maybe I should give more air to the engine.

So I decided to convert this scooter to LC. I saw that _PrZeMo_ did it.

Hi guy! Ur speed is quite nice but u have to work on it a little. And I hope that u must make a regulation because I think that u can have more power from this parts. Welcome to speedfight.pl! Greetings Szymoon

Thanks! But I don't know what to do now. I feel that the scooter has more power, but I can't use full throttle only 3/4. On full throttle it rattles for more air, or something this. And the top speed: only 70 km/h by the speedometer. With laser x pro, 17,5 dellorto carb, stage 6 cdi, new v-belt, motoforce variator, new clutch. Why?

Everybody here on the forum writes that the speedfight's top speed is 85-90 km/h. I would be very pleased with 85 km/h.

Your problem is in regulation. If u have sport clutch and vario u must make regulation with rollers and clutch spring. For example I have Hebo NG vario and Yasuni Z exhaust and I have inserted central clutch spring + 22 % and rollers 5,9 gr. It's example of course. And u must know that belt and cdi won't give more power, of course cdi makes that the scooter is gennerally unblocked and it makes that the revs could by higher i high range. Your second problem is sport carb. I hope that u didn't change nozzle in it and it's problably that ur scooter don't have normal mixture with gasoline and air. Szymoon

Wait a minute! With the rollers you're right. Speedfight 2 ac is with 9 gr rollers manufactured. Now I placed 8,5 gr in it. Maybe it's too heavy and I must use easier but I don't know what, 7 gr? I should test it.
The small springs in the clutch are replaced. The central clutch spring is also replaced +10% (the original was 50 kg, but the belt was not ok with it, and now I took 55 kg in it, that's +10%, and only 58 kg is available on the webshops if I want stronger(scooter-attack).
The carb: I have changed the nozzle of course, the spark plug is now brown, so it is ok.
But if I'm riding the scooter 20-40 km-s the engine block under the filter is oily. So of the filter comes out some oil and gasoline mixture. Is my membran bad or this problem is of the bad throttle?

I don't know what to do now.

You have strange problem I think I think that u have to change rollers because 8,5 gr are too heavy. Maybe good idea is to buy test rollers which are in different weights and u'll choose the best rollers weight. You can also insert stock small springs in clutch and try how it will be work. U must try as many combinations as possible, maybe u find the best. SzymooN

Rollers are too heavy, that´s ok. But the top speed is not good enough. That´s of the bad throttle, and I don´t know what to do with it.
What is your speedfight´s top speed by the speedometer, and acceleration is good?

Your roolers is a too,too heavy.My top speed is 80km/h,acceleration is good (my Speedfight must make regulations) My settings parts:Malossi Multivar (7,0g),Malossi Delta Cluth,Malossi CD.Unit. and orginal central springs. You must buy a setings test rollers.

michal306:Not problem, my english is poor too. I've seen your scooter on bikepics.com. It's fine. Ok, rollers are too heavy, but the full throttle is unusable and I don't know why.
What is the throttle reaction with the original carburettor? My carburettor's choke is bad, that's why I replaced the whole carb to dellorto, but so I can't use the original air filter but I would like to use it.
My top speed is 70-75 km/h, and it is not enough for me.
I have an another sccoter too, yamaha aerox. When it was 50 ccm, it was better than the speedfight, much better. Top speed was 80 km/h.

I saw a video from one speedfight with laser x pro and malossi multivar.

I would like to replace the carb to the original, but I need nozzle into it and my e-choke is bad too I think.

Where can I find nozzle to the original gurtner carb? On scooter-attack are available nozzles, but the original in the carb is 72 and I need 80, 82,86 or so. But these are not in stock.
Where are you guys buyin' nozzlest into the gurtner carb?

Bad news. The crankshaft simering is bad->oil+gasoline leakage.
I must fix it first, and than carb. adjusting.
